Magical Mastery — A Landmark Work of Life-size Puppetry
This superb solo performance is presented by the talented Chilean puppeteer and actor Tita Iacobelli. The work portrays an accomplished actress on the verge of retirement who is preparing to play Arkadina from Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull. As the story unfolds, the boundaries between the character and her own life experiences gradually blur, drawing her into a state of psychological confusion. Showcasing some of the world’s most masterful puppeteering techniques, the work offers a subtle and insightful reflection on acting and ageing. This remarkable performance, which has taken South American and European festivals by storm, is not to be missed.
